Push Me Dad is more than just a book - it's a movement dedicated to strengthening the bond between fathers and their children. It's a call to action for dads everywhere to be present, intentional, and unwavering in their support, no matter what life throws their way. This movement celebrates the quiet strength of fatherhood, the everyday moments that leave lasting impressions, and the power of simply showing up. Through shared stories, inspiration, and real-life reflections, Push Me Dad, encourages men to take pride in their role as foundational figures in their children's lives - and to never underestimate the impact of a single push in the right direction.
Raised in Washington Heights, Dyckman Housing, Isadore "I.B." Brown forged his own path through hardship, navigating life at his own pace and overcoming every obstacle in his way. With the unwavering support of a loving mother and the distant but powerful shadows of a bold father's presence, I.B. found strength in his roots.
Writing became his sanctuary and escape from the troubles that shadowed him from childhood into adulthood, each word a step toward healing. He now channels that gift for words into a powerful tool to inspire others, and to be a guiding voice for children, uplfting a new generation with the reminder that their storie matter and that hope can prevail.
This inspiring journey shows that even from the toughest beginnings, creativity, resiliance, and purpose can light the way forward.
My daughter means everything to me. I do this for her.
Me and my daughter was at the park and I was pushing her on a swing. One of the other kids asked me to push them too. That's when I realized, my presence in my daughters' life was more important than I was consciously aware of. What if I wasn't there and she was the one asking another man to push her?
It was beautiful to receive so much support for my first book signing. Cleveland showed up, and showed out.
Niagra Falls came out to celebrate the
